Silver and tan

This necklace is made with white glass beads from a necklace I picked up at a thrift store and paired up with some of my handmade beads. The focal bead was made with a method called mokume game. It's my favorite technique for making beads in clay. I usually use 3 colors and a rubber stamp. I've "borrowed" from a fellow student in Gwen Gibson's class last summer and also from Ponaswan Sila, a clay artist from Thailand, working in the US. I modified the technique and made it my own, I hope.
My handmade beads are on sale at my etsy store: http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=65388#
